Detail Itinerary
Day 1 - From Dehradun to Sankri (9-10hrs)
On the first day of the Phulara Ridge walk, you'll travel from Dehradun to Sankri, a charming little town in Uttarakhand with around 250 dwellings nearby. The hamlet is made up of modest businesses and Dhabas. Many additional hikes, such as Kedarkantha and Har Ki Dun, start from the hamlet. The little town in the Himalayan lap is breathtaking, with an exquisite view of Swargarohini mountain. You'll pass via Nainbagh, Naugaon, Purola, Jarmola, Mori Naitwari, and ultimately Sankri on your way to Sankri. It takes 8 to 10 hours to drive from Dehradun to Sankri. The hamlet offers plenty of excitement, as well as the opportunity to ride the Zipline known as Zip700.
Day 2 - From Sankri to Sikolta (5hrs))
On the second day of your Phulara Ridge trek, you will leave Sankri base camp and continue towards Sikolta, passing through a magnificent pine forest and arriving at a tiny bridge to cross after 1.5 hours of elevation. While ascending, remember to take it slow and steady; later on, you'll come across several damaged dhabas, and after 30 minutes on the trail, you'll arrive at the first destination, "Jainot Thatch." After more than 10 minutes on the trail, you'll need to ascend to Marikoda, where you'll be able to admire Dhunda's splendour and catch a view of the Phulara Ridge. After spending so much time on the trail, you eventually arrive to “Sikolta,” a lovely meadow section. Rest in the tent, eat dinner, and get ready for the next trip the next day.
Day 3 - From Sikolta to Bhojgadi via Karsu Thatch (4hrs)
On the third day of your Phulara Ridge walk, you will ascend 30 minutes through the jungle from Sikolta to Bhoj Gadi. The forest will be dark and deep, and you may see some trees that have fallen on the route; be cautious and listen to your trek leader during your trip. Later on the journey, you will see the bridge; there will be a little descending bridge followed by a steep rise. Near the bridge, there is a lovely creek where you may fill your water bottles. After around 15 minutes of climbing, you will reach Karasu Thatch. The area is lush with greens and yellow flowers that appear to be fascinating. You will be able to see the Kedarkantha peak as well as changes in the surroundings, such as a reduction in tree lines, before beginning a steady rise from here. You'll have a 30-minute steady rise as you walk further. The route is lined by Rhododendron and Bhoj trees. The lovely green meadows will open up after a few more minutes after stepping off. You'll be able to view Dhunda Top, the highest peak in the area, and a 10- to 15-minute hike will take you to Bhoj Gadi, your campsite. You may relax and acclimate, and the best part about the camp is that you can see the grandeur of Kedarkantha peak, Swargarohini, and a few more peaks.
Day 4 - From Bhoj Gadi to Pushtara via Phulara Ridge (6hrs)
A mind-boggling dawn can be a great way to start the day; it takes about an hour to go to the top and wait for the bird century on the ridge. It's almost as if you're walking with mountains following you around, hunting you down wherever you go. The 360° perspective from the summit spins the salt coated mountains. Fortunately, the open-air rising path will allow you more opportunities to observe both sides, and you'll receive eye-chapped fascinating snow-covered slope on both sides. Pushtara will relieve your stress from a long day after a 2.5-hour stroll. The path will be a mix of elevation and descent, with views of the Purola Valley and towering pine forests. You will be able to view peaks like Hanuman Top, Sarutal Top, DKD, Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, Swargarohini, Hata Peak (HKD), Ranglana, Devkyara valley, Lekha Top, Vijay Top, and Kedarkantha clearly. As you explore the Phulara Ridge, you'll make your way to Pushtara, a wonderful destination and the location of your fourth-day camping. After arriving, take a breather, have breakfast, and experience the grandeur of this Uttarakhand trip.
Day 5 - Pushtara to Taluka to sankri (5-7hrs)
On the journey back to Sankri through Taluka, Day 5 will begin with a half-hour walk to Taluka, where you will see destroyed Gujjar dwellings. Meadows like a plush sofa on which you may lounge for hours until someone pokes you to get out. A one-hour drive will take you from grassland to the middle of a pine and oak forest, which is beautiful enough to amuse your spirit while yet allowing you to connect with nature. Broken trees might be a hazard, therefore be cautious when crossing their stems. Someone around you is about to reach Sankri, 40 minutes' walk away, and you'll be at the end destination at the lodge, 2 hours later, when fire fumes enter the nose and click the sign to be present. From here, the Phulara Ridge hike will come to a conclusion, and you will go to Dehradun the next day. Keep all of your recollections, and now you should go to Sankri, a lovely village in Uttarakhand. Many Uttarakhand hikes begin at Sankri. You might consider it because the community is very lovely amid the Himalayan foothills.
Day 6 - From Sankri to Dehradun (9-10hrs)
On the sixth day of the Phulara Ridge trek, you will bid farewell to this lovely walk and travel back to Dehradun from Sankri, which will take 8 to 9 hours
